Active Campaign install tracking. In this video we’re going to cover how to install Active Campaign tracking on your site, you’ll need to specify the domain that you wanted installed on. If you’re going to use the WordPress plugin option you’re going to need the API URL and API key for non WordPress sites. You’re going to copy the tracking script and pasted on a page prior to the closing body tag. So let’s dive right in.
Inside your Active Campaign account. You want to go to Settings, tracking, you want to make sure this is turned on. You want to add a domain and my recommendation is not to include the www this gives you a little more flexibility. Go ahead and do that. And then you’re going to want to copy this code and paste it below the opening or the closing body tag on non WordPress site. I’m going to go ahead and show you how to do it on a WordPress site.
So inside here, you want to go to your plugins in WordPress. We’re an install plugin, we’re going to add a new one I’m going to go ahead and search for it, will install the one by Active Campaign and then will activate it, you want to go to plugin settings. And I’ve already installed it once. So there’s my API URL and API key. Find that information, you want to go to Settings, developer, and there’s your information. You want to make sure in WordPress, you’ve enabled site tracking tracked by default and then go ahead and update Saturday. So that’s how you install Active Campaign tracks.
