Email pricing is an important consideration for businesses of all sizes. Whether you are a solopreneur or a large corporation, email is a critical tool for communication with clients, customers, and colleagues. However, the cost of email services can vary widely depending on your needs and the provider you choose.
When it comes to email pricing, there are a few key factors to consider. First and foremost, how many people will you be emailing to? This is particularly important for email marketing.
Start by simply clicking Submit. Don't select any of the options, just Submit.
What you will get is everything.
For better or worse, the graph is configured to show all data even though it might not fit on the graph well. Go ahead and click Submit to see what I am talking about.
See what I mean 😁
It does get better. You could click on the label for the service and plan you are not interested in. Doing that will remove the data from the graph.
It gets even better... if you have an idea of how many subscribers and how much you are willing to pay per month, you can zoom in on that section of the chart.
Type in the maximum price you want to pay and how many subscribers you expect to have. Additionally, you can select to see results based on montly or yearly prices. Just remember that if you are willing to pay up to $30 / month for an email service provider that is $360 / year.
As an example, type in $30 per month and up to 1000 subscribers. Click Submit and...
Move your mouse (or finger) over the chart at the price and subscriber count to get a list of service provider and plans that meet your price requirements.
Now you have something to work with.
Before I tell you the next step, there is some thing important to tell you.
Price is only one factor to consider. While it might seem like the most important factor, there are other things to consider. Mainly, does the email service provider have the features that you want and need? Will you be able to 'grow' with this service? Will they help import your current subscribers? How is their support - 24/7 with live chat or "we'll get back to you later"?
I'll stop preaching for now :)
Start comparing one email service provider versus another email service provider. For example: CampaignMonitor Essentials vs OntraPort Plus yearly pricing
If you click the Reset button, that will clear your settings.
Now choose two services and click Submit.
Here is what the price of AWeber - Lite and ConvertKit - Creator looks like versus the number of subscribers.
You could also zoom in on the chart by providing a maximum price and number of contacts.
Or...

Now you can compare pricing for each service at different contact levels to see the difference in price and as a percentage.
Email pricing can be a bit confusing, especially if you're new to the world of email marketing. There are a few things you need to consider when choosing an email service provider (ESP) and understanding their pricing structure.
One of the first things to consider is the number of subscribers you have. Most ESPs charge based on the number of subscribers you have, so it's important to choose a plan that fits your needs. Keep in mind that some ESPs may charge additional fees if you go over your subscriber limit.
Another factor to consider is the frequency of your email campaigns. If you plan on sending emails frequently, you may want to choose an ESP that offers unlimited sending. However, if you only plan on sending emails occasionally, a pay-as-you-go plan may be a better option.
Some ESPs also offer additional features, such as automation and segmentation, which can be useful for targeting specific groups of subscribers. These features may come at an additional cost, so it's important to consider whether they are worth the investment for your business.
When comparing pricing plans, it's important to look beyond just the monthly cost. Some ESPs may charge additional fees for things like email design services or customer support. Make sure to read the fine print and understand all of the costs associated with each plan.
Overall, choosing the right email pricing plan depends on your specific business needs. Take the time to evaluate your options and choose an ESP that fits your budget and offers the features you need to succeed in your email marketing efforts.
